Scott Dreier

SCOTT DREIER has made his living as a professional performer for 20 years in theatre, TV, commercials, voiceover, film, recording and cabaret. Scott's critically acclaimed one-man show Doris and Me (2013 and 2014 winner-Eddon Award--Best of LA Theater-Best Male Solo Show) has been touring the U.S. into its 5th year now (including 54 Below, NYC). The show celebrates the music, career, and life of Doris Day--and Scott's quirky obsession with her. It is Scott's love letter to Doris Day and is co-written by co-director Kurtis Simmons and directed by award-winning director Richard Israel. Dreier was humbled and honored to have been invited to perform "Doris and Me" in Carmel (where Doris Day resides today) this past April for her 92nd Birthday Celebration benefiting the Doris Day Animal Foundation (DDAF.org).

As a director, Scott has directed several productions of "Forever Plaid".

As a performer, Scott is best known in the theatre world for playing Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (12 productions). Tours/Regional include: Smudge in the San Diego Company of Forever Plaid (2 1/2 years and multiple productions), Harold Hill in the The Music Man, Side by Side by Sondheim (Desert Theatre League Award), the Baker in Into the Woods, Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business..., JP Who in The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe Theatre)--not to mention four domestic and international one-man shows for Buena Vista Film and Disney.

Also a recording artist, Scott's self-titled debut solo CD of Big Band, Broadway and Pop songs featuring a duet with TV's Katey Sagal (Married with Children, Sons of Anarchy) was selected onto the preliminary Grammy Ballot. Scott has been the guest vocalist for Pasadena Pops and sang back-up for Barbra Streisand at two of her LA concerts.

As a voiceover artist, Scott was the official voice of Knuckles the Echidna for Sega Games, Sonic the Hedgehog--for many years. He has appeared in numerous national and regional television commercials.

TV credits include: The First Family, The Suite Life on Deck, I Carly, Malcolm in the Middle, General Hospital, and the film, Enchanted: Go West.

Scott just released his second album "The Doris Day Project" (featuring the music from Doris and Me--and, also, including a duet with Grammy Nominated Jazz Singer, Jane Monheit)
