Eric Johnson

Eric was born and raised in Long Beach, California. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Eric holds a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, and Mass Communications. With over 23 years in the customer service sector, Eric started his restaurant career in the late 90’s with the development and future growth of an Irish Pub concept with his business partner. Following the success of their first location, Eric and his partner started The Auld Dubliner Irish Pubs in 2003 and had grown the concept to 9 locations. Additionally, RMA expanded its restaurant operations business to include restaurant consulting. Through this arm of RMA, Eric has helped assemble a team of qualified individuals with varied expertise in the restaurant business. RMA has helped develop several concepts including two other Irish Pub concepts, a Pizza & Wine bar called The Bleecker Street, as well as a Mexican concept called Pablo’s Cantina. In 2011 Eric and his business partner sold their corporately held assets and in 2012 formed a group to purchase Legends Sports Bar & Restaurant in Long Beach. In 2014 they expanded and opened a new concept in Long Beach called The Boathouse on the Bay and in 2015 they purchased the iconic O’Malley’s on Main Irish pub in Seal Beach. Today, they still operate their original Auld Dubliner pub in downtown Long Beach on Pine Ave along with Legends, O’Malley’s and The Boathouse.
