Douglas Robinson

Dr. Douglas Robinson has been Vice President for Student Services at CSULB since 1991. In this role, Dr. Robinson provides leadership to more than 35 university programs and services that focus on the needs of students outside the classroom and assist students in achieving their goals and enhancing their personal growth and development.

Dr. Robinson serves as chair on several university committees, including the Student Fee Advisory Committee and the 49er Shops Board of Directors. He twice served as chair of the university’s NCAA Athletics Certification Steering Committee and served on the search committee for the current president of CSULB. Off campus, Dr. Robinson is chair of the CSU Advisory Council on Services to Student with Disabilities.

Dr. Robinson received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University.
