Jim Michaelian, President/CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, will be the guest on the next edition of Straight Talk. He joins host Art Levine to discuss the exciting plans for this year’s 40th running of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Also on the show is Long Beach native Nate Jones. Nate is one of the 20 original founders of the race and has served as the Director of Paddock Operations since the very beginning.
This edition of Straight Talk will air in Long Beach and 40 surrounding cities on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 at 9am and 7pm on LBTV Channel 3 and FiOS 21, and 10am and 8pm on Charter Channel 101. It will be repeated the following weekend at the same times.

Candidates vying to lead Long Beach as the next mayor faced off in a televised debate hosted by the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) and moderated by Straight Talk host Art Levine. The League is a 37 year-old political organization focused solely on electing pro-environment municipal leaders throughout Los Angeles County.
The debate was held on Thursday, January 23 at The Grand, and offered voters an opportunity to hear from candidates Robert Garcia, Bonnie Lowenthal, Gerrie Schipske, and Doug Otto on key issues facing Long Beach. Over 400 hundred people attended the event.
