Tony Soares

In May of 2000, after having spent ten years as an attorney in both California and the Province of Ontario, Soares began his career in the sports industry with the IHL's Long Beach Ice Dogs.  In 2003, Soares was named President of the Ice Dogs and guided the team for the next three seasons, which included the team's transition to the ECHL.  Under Soares, the Ice Dogs experienced their three best financial years in their ten year history, while qualifying for post season play in two of those three seasons.

Soares will bring his extensive knowledge of the Long Beach community and strong ties to the area's business sector to the Armada.  His focus is on improving the fan experience at the ballpark, while at the same time, continuing to entrench the Armada into the Long Beach community.
