Henry Walker

W. Henry Walker is the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Credit Officer and the Corporate Secretary of Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach, a community bank with $3 billion in assets and 22 banking offices in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. F&M is independently rated as one of the safest banks in California and is among the top 10 safest banks in the nation. Mr. Walker also serves as an executive officer of Queen City Investments, a multi- faceted holding company which owns Farmers and Merchants Trust Company (California’s oldest charted trust company with assets under management of $1.2 billion), a 25,000 acre working cattle ranch, and other commercial/retail investment properties located throughout Southern California.

As a fourth generation banker and one of only four executive officers which include his father, Ken Walker, and brother, Daniel Walker, he is actively involved in all areas of management. He has specific responsibility for a $1.9 billion loan portfolio, officer recruitment and hiring, incentive compensation, product development, strategic planning, branch expansion and lease negotiations. Throughout his tenure at F&M, he has been active in various organizations and currently participates on the following boards: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Orange County Pacific Symphony, and the Finance Committee.

Walker is a 1988 graduate of Pepperdine University with his BS in Business Administration. He started his professional banking career one year earlier. Henry also participates in various sports including polo, golf, and snow boarding. He has memberships at the Santa Barbara Polo Club where he has been a member for over 25 years. At the current age of 43, Henry’s passion is banking and he plans to stay active in business until a 5th generation Walker is ready to take the helm.
