Felton Williams

Felton C. Williams has served three term as President, Long Beach Unified School District‘s Board of Education.  Dr. Williams held administrative positions at: California State Universities, Long Beach and Dominguez Hills, Sacramento and Long Beach City Colleges, serving as: Asst. to Assoc. Dean of Instructional Services (CSULB); Asst. to the President and Affirmative Action Officer (CSUDH): Dean of Counseling Services (Sacramento City College) and Dean of Business and Social Science (Long Beach City College), prior to his retirement in 2007.  Dr. Williams received a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Higher Education from Claremont Graduate University, where he studied under the direction of Peter F. Drucker.  He received his MBA and BA in Business Administration at CSU, Long Beach, and his A.A. in Secretarial Science at L.A. Harbor College. Dr. Williams assisted in the in the design and implementation of the first computer assisted registration program, (CAR), and the graduate program in Public Policy and Administration. Dr. Williams served as a member of the U.S. Army as Secretary to the Brigade Commander in Europe and received an honorable discharge. He has two children, Sonia and Felton, Jr., and two granddaughters, Kiara Williams and Kianna Peppers.
