About the Show
Straight Talk is a weekly half hour talk show broadcast on cable systems in Long Beach and 34 surrounding cities reaching 650,000 cable viewers. In its twelfth year on air, Straight Talk is the most watched and respected cable talk show in the area.
The show provides a platform for in depth discussions with government and business leaders, elected officials, university and college presidents, faculty experts, leaders in the arts, entertainers, doctors and health care administrators, and representatives of non- profit organizations and community groups. Guests and topics are chosen to embrace the cutting edge of current newsworthy developments, to showcase individuals of accomplishment and to focus on the importance of ethics and values. More than 300 shows have been taped over the past twelve years.

About the Host
Straight Talk is hosted by Art Levine, an established television personality in the community who has been on air for more than nineteen years. An underlying theme of the show is the importance of values and ethics. Viewers are encouraged to get involved in their community and the show stresses that each of us can make a difference.
Art is also a professor of ethics and legal studies at the College of Business Administration, California State University, Long Beach. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and is a member of the State Bar of California and State Bar of New York. He has also completed the Workshop for Ethics Educators of the Josephson Institute for the Advancement of Ethics. He is one of the founding faculty members of the newly established CSULB Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership.
Art has made numerous professional presentations on the subjects of corporate abuse and teaching ethics. He has written columns for newspapers and business journals on the importance of ethics and the need for ethical reform in corporate America, in politics and in society as a whole. He has been interviewed by the print and electronic media throughout the country on the subject of ethics and the need for corporate reform. He was a judge in the Ethics Bowl at the 2005 Annual Meeting of the Association of Practical and Applied Ethics.
Art is a graduate of Leadership Long Beach, Class of 2003. He was a recipient of the 2002 CSULB Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award. He also served for eight years as a director of the Long Beach Public Transit Company. In 2004 Art was elected to the Board of Directors of the Center for Water Education. The Center is building a $25 million educational facility in Hemet, California which is set to open in summer 2006.
